1. About this programme
The StarkyApp Founding Tester Programme is operated by Starky Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 29 687 389 073), referred to as “StarkyApp”, “we” or “us”. Contact us at info@starkyapp.com. These terms govern applications to and participation in the Founding Tester Programme. You accept these terms, including the linked StarkyApp SaaS Agreement subject to its beta-specific exceptions, by ticking the required terms acceptance checkbox and submitting the registration form. Registration does not guarantee selection, provide immediate access or create a paid subscription. If selected, you will receive your start dates and core testing tasks before deciding whether to begin.
You must be at least 18 and authorised to participate for the business and any advertising accounts you use. The initial Builder cohort has 20 places. Selection depends on suitability and available capacity.
2. Testing stages and free access
Builder: selected testers receive one month of free Builder access, planned to begin in November 2026. Your invitation will confirm the activation date and the date free access ends.
Optional Pro or Manager beta: you may opt into an available Pro or Manager testing stage, planned for December 2026, with three months of free access starting when that access is activated. This stage is optional and subject to readiness and availability. We will confirm its dates and scope before you opt in.
These free periods cover the StarkyApp subscription only. No deposit is required. There is no obligation to subscribe, and free access does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. If dates change, we will tell affected testers and confirm revised access dates before the relevant stage.
3. Participation and feedback
Please use the agreed features in good faith, report issues with enough detail to help us understand them, and provide honest feedback. Negative feedback does not affect eligibility for a reward. Do not include passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information in feedback or screenshots.
Builder: complete the one-month testing stage and its end-of-month feedback questionnaire. No ongoing questionnaires or public reviews are required to retain the earned discount. Pro or Manager: complete the three-month testing stage and one short feedback questionnaire for each month. Completing that stage and its feedback requirements unlocks the full discount period; no ongoing monthly feedback is required afterwards. Each questionnaire is expected to take approximately 5–10 minutes. Submit each questionnaire within seven days after the relevant testing month ends. We will send a reminder before the deadline. A genuine attempt and useful feedback count where bugs prevent a task from being completed. Your invitation will set out the core testing tasks before you decide whether to begin the relevant stage; requirements will not be increased retrospectively. No feedback calls are mandatory unless expressly agreed in that invitation.
4. Discount after testing
Eligible Builder testers receive 50% off Builder for six consecutive calendar months. Eligible Pro or Manager testers receive 50% off the subscription plan they tested for twelve consecutive calendar months. The reward is earned by completing the relevant stage and feedback requirements in section 3, not by providing a positive rating or public review. Testing Builder alone does not qualify you for a Pro or Manager discount. If you qualify on more than one plan, you may choose one eligible subscription discount; rewards cannot be stacked or used sequentially to extend the promotional period.
To redeem, start an eligible paid monthly subscription within 30 days after the relevant free testing stage ends. The discount is 50% of the standard, undiscounted monthly subscription price for that plan shown and accepted at checkout. It applies to monthly billing only. The six- or twelve-month discount period starts when that paid subscription begins and runs consecutively, without pauses or restarts. Switching to an untested plan removes the discount from that plan. A switch between plans for which you have qualified does not restart or extend your original promotional period; a Builder discount cannot apply beyond six months from the original paid-subscription start date. Cancellation or a break in service does not pause or restart the clock. Any resumption on an eligible plan can use only the unexpired portion of the original period.
The beta discount cannot be combined with founding-customer, association/chamber, partner, annual-payment or other promotional discounts. It does not reduce Google Ads spend or third-party charges. Before a tester starts a paid subscription, we will show the price, billing frequency, discount end date and price that applies afterwards, and obtain their agreement.
5. Separate from public founding-customer reservations
This beta programme is separate from the public founding-customer offer of 25% off for 12 months with a single refundable deposit. These beta terms do not alter an existing reservation, refund entitlement or a previous 40% commitment. Any participant already expressly promised a twelve-month Builder beta discount retains that commitment. If you already have a reservation, contact us before choosing a paid plan so we can confirm which offer you wish to use and how your existing deposit will be handled under its original terms. Offers do not stack.
6. Advertising spend and account control
You remain responsible for approving campaign content, targeting and budgets, complying with advertising laws and Google policies, and obtaining any client permissions needed. Review outputs before applying them to live accounts. No level of leads, sales, return on spend or advertising performance is promised.
Google Ads charges and other third-party costs are separate from free StarkyApp access and are payable under your arrangements with those providers. Before connecting an account, review the permissions requested. Do not share account passwords with us.
Ending your beta participation or disconnecting StarkyApp may not stop campaigns already running in Google Ads. Check and pause or close those campaigns directly if you want advertising spend to stop. This does not remove any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
7. Beta limitations and responsible use
The beta is a developing service. Features may be incomplete, change or be temporarily unavailable, and errors may occur. Keep copies of important work and monitor any live campaigns. We will provide a contact route for issues but do not promise a particular response time or continuous availability during testing.
Use only accounts and material you are authorised to use. Keep access details secure. Do not misuse the service, interfere with other users or attempt unauthorised access. Report suspected security problems privately to our contact address.
8. Your data, feedback and publicity
You retain ownership of your business materials and campaign content. StarkyApp retains its rights in its software and branding. You permit us to use feedback you voluntarily provide to evaluate and improve the service without payment; this does not transfer ownership of your business materials or allow us to publish your confidential information.
We handle application details, account information, usage information, connected campaign data and feedback in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provide only information needed for testing and make sure you are authorised to share any client information. Data access, retention, deletion and privacy enquiries are governed by that policy and applicable law.
Programme messages concern your application, testing and access. Separate marketing consent is not a condition of participation. We may invite you to provide a public review or take part in a testimonial or case study, but this is optional and does not affect your discount. We will obtain separate permission covering the agreed name, business name, logo, quotes, results and intended promotional channels, and your approval of the final material before publication. We will disclose relevant beta benefits where appropriate and comply with the review platform’s rules. We will also seek separate permission before recording a feedback session.
9. Leaving, suspension and programme changes
You may stop participating at any time by contacting us. There is no cancellation fee for free beta access. Leaving before completing a testing stage does not earn that stage’s reward, subject to the provisions below for cancellation by us or tasks blocked by bugs. Any reward already earned from a completed stage remains subject to its original redemption deadline. We will confirm when access ends and how to request available data exports or deletion under our Privacy Policy.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect security, comply with law or address a material breach. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Urgent restrictions may take effect immediately.
If we need to end a testing stage early or materially change its scope, we will notify affected testers and explain the effect on access. We will not retrospectively remove a discount already earned. Where our own cancellation prevents completion, we will confirm a fair alternative way to qualify rather than automatically disqualifying the tester. Material changes to these terms require notice and agreement before they apply; you may decline and leave without a beta cancellation fee.
10. Your legal rights and questions
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. The beta nature of the service and the separate advertising-cost provisions do not waive those rights.

The StarkyApp SaaS Agreement applies to your use of the Platform during beta testing and any subsequent paid subscription, subject to the beta-specific exceptions in clause 8.9 of that Agreement.
Your free beta access does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. You must expressly choose a paid plan and accept its pricing and billing arrangements before payment obligations begin.
These Beta Testing Terms continue to govern any earned discount after your paid subscription starts. The SaaS Agreement otherwise governs your paid subscription, including billing, renewal and cancellation.
